story of a faith..

This is a story of a young girl who once decided to test her faith in God.

Once she was travelling with her family in a bus from her grandparents' place after Eid vacations back to her home. It was a long journey. This was one thing she liked about it. She always loved to unplug her memories and thoughts in journeys like such and enjoy watching her thoughts, imaginations find new heights.
This time her memories took her back in time when she was very young and was travelling with her grandparents on a similar trip. She had heard that God loves everybody. She thought, 'me too?" she closed her eyes and started analysing herself, how much did she love God and how much did she deserve His love. she prayed to God that she loved Him the most and If He too loves her, He make her taste a thing she had never before....she prayed and prayed with her eyes full of tears and heart with emotions of love and self-guilt till she fell asleep.
The time her eyes opened, she found her Mom giving her a sweet to taste..she did never before, she tasted it and loved it.Her grandfather had stopped at a sweet shop and had offered everyone a treat. She was happy as never before as she found it her God's answer to her nonsense demand, She found His affirmation, which was sweeter.
Now, as she is older and wiser, she knows that it would be wrong to test God's love for her.She knows God loves everybody and that we must always have faith in him. She had also heard stories of several men of God, who never asked anybody for help even in hardest of times but raised their hands only before their God,the Almighty.
But yet, there was somewhere still that child in her.
Today she decided to test her faith in God.
At one stop in the way, the bus stopped and what did not was the thought process; her brother brought a packet of chips and some other stuff out which she only had chips. By the time the bus started to move..everything had finished..except her hunger or the prayer for today...she wanted to have more chips.
She prayed to her God and said nothing to anybody...neither brother, mother nor her Dad who repeatedly asked her before the bus started whether she wanted anything else. But she had said nothing. All she asked was from God and that too a packet of chips....putting her faith on test. She was nervous becuz she herself had opted for it.If her faith could not pass, it would be her failure.. She knew nothing was impossible for the One who made this world.HE is the Most powerful and free to do anything.
After sometime, bus again stopped. Her father asked everybody if they wanted to have anything. Nobody said anything, including her. The bus started, her heart stopped for a moment. she was not feeling good at all. Her mistakes, sins kept alarming. Her heart sank.
Bus stopped again.
"Have you ever tried 'desi chips'?" her father asked her. "there are no 'desi chips' papa!" she said. I SEE them at that shop but...wait lets try them out"... he got down the next moment and climbed back only when bus was just about to leave. "See?" , he said. "No. I got to consult a doctor....Ahh..my eyesight.!! It was no 'desi chip' but the girl's once favourite brand. Her father gave it to her. She had got her answer!! Her faith had passed the acid test. She thanked God, then her father. Her father smiled at her and she, at her God!

This story of faith may not be an answer to some scientific questions which people put forward as their doubts in the search of God. But this tells us that while we search for our Creator in things which satisfy our minds we should find Him in our hearts. There is always heart which plays an important role in this concern.people who find God with both brains and hearts are more liable to come on the right path and that they get guidance from the Most Merciful Himself. 'ya hadi'(one who shows the way) and 'ya rahim'(one who is merciful) should what we carry in our hearts when we step out in search of God!
May Allah, bless us all and always guide us on the right path. ameen
